Among other things, the Virginia Farm Bureau’s young farmers toured the aquaculture facility at Cowart Seafood. Pollard talked about the economic importance of agriculture and seafood as well as the heritage of working the land and water -- emphasizing that the Chesapeake Bay has a land to water ratio five times greater than any other estuary in the world.
